Eligo dell'Ornellaia Grappa Riserva illustreert Ornellaia's filosofie dat een compromisloos selectieproces in de wijngaard en in ieder geval in het productieproces essentieel is om de hoogst mogelijke kwaliteit te creëren. Na het persen van devoor Ornellaia’s wijnen gaat het overgebleven druivenpulp naar een destilleerder op het Toscaanse platteland. Daar wordt er van de restanten Grappa gedestilleerd. Als het destileren aan zijn eind is gekomen wordt de grappa gedurende minimaal 3 jaar in Ornellaia’s eigen vaten gerijpt. Met zijn zachte aroma's, zijdezachte textuur en mooie gouden kleur. Eligo dell'Ornellaia Grappa Riserva is onderscheidend in stijl, uniek van oorsprong, geïnspireerd door de natuur en gemaakt door de mens.
